I used to be a typical seller - listing my houses with an agent. But now I’m a cutting edge FSBO (for sale by owner) seller through and through. How did this happen?

When I began full-time investing in real estate over five years ago, I was a little green. Until then, my real estate experience had been limited to buying my own residences and a few rental properties. But then I began to acquire lots of houses, some to keep and some to sell.

I realized that the days of passively selling houses was over. No more “L&F” (List and Forget) as investors say!

So I made it my job to learn tactics other successful investors were using. I literally traveled all over the country going to seminars and buying home study systems. Sometimes I would get only a few useful tips, but it was all adding up.

And I figured some things out myself. Trust me - when you have 10+ mortgages to pay each month, you get real creative, real fast!

In order to close a deal, there are some plan that should be written down. Part of the strategy should include hiring a skilled realtor, creating a strategic plan, fair pricing and great presentation of the house.
