Should I pay the gas bill or the doctor bill? Should I spend the money to replace my bad tires, or keep driving on the unsafe, bald ones? Do we splurge for pizza when my kids beg me for it, even if we can’t afford it, or make mac and cheese from a box again? Don’t get me wrong, we were happy, but I felt chained by financial handcuffs. I told my husband I wanted to start looking for something else.  Some kind of work and income I could do at home so we could have some extra money.  He supported me, but also felt bad that I had to resort to taking on extra work to put some extra money in our budget.  But he already worked long hours, and couldn’t work any more than he did.
