Liz started her 12 weeks with us weighing 165 pounds and had a goal weight of 125. At the age of 30, Liz realized she had spent over half her life with eating problems, including being diagnosed with anorexia at the age of 16. At first she was pretty negative and didn't really think it was possible to reach her goal weight, but committed to the 12 weeks and diligently worked the program. She found it difficult at times with friends and family telling her things like, "Skipping the gym one time won't kill you." and "Go ahead eat just one cookie, you'll be alright." Despite their lack of support, Liz stuck with it and at the end of her 12 weeks she weighed in at 118.5 pounds (LESS than her original goal weight) for a total of 46.5 pounds lost. While losing weight was important, it was about more than just weight with Liz. Here's what she had to say at the end of her program, "I am so ecstatically, unbelievably happy and feel fantastic! I'm truly amazed at the change in my body, but also in my mind. I have had a total transformation inside and out, and I'm certain that I can maintain this." Nicole was once a conditioned athlete and coach, but after giving birth to 3 children she packed on the pounds and found herself with what she calls a "jelly belly" that only a son could (and did) love. When Nic left the hospital after the birth of her 3rd child, she weighed 220 pounds and was able to lose about 44 of those pounds in a few years, but could never sustain the weight loss.
