Learn how to draw caricatures the easy way

Learning to Draw Caricatures
Has Never Been Easier

(Even If You are a Complete Beginner)

You know, I think I'm a lot like you...

I was in the same place you are not too long ago. I enjoyed drawing a lot, but what I really wanted was to feel the satisfaction of being a good artist. I wanted to feel proud to have my friends and family marvel at my drawings.

I dreamed of one day being good enough that people would pay me to do what I love. I wanted to be able to talk with and meet other successful artists around the world. And lastly, the rebel in me wanted to show everyone that ever said anything negative about my art that you can make a wildly successful career as an artist.

Every Successful Artist Begins Somewhere...

Unfortunately, even with all those aspirations, I grew up in a tiny Canadian farming village of just 643 people where the school was naturally very small and there wasn't even a formal art class! But, I didn't let that stop me from drawing because I enjoyed it so much. When I was younger I was not the best artist in my class - not even close! I was jealous of the "natural talent" that some other kids seemed to have.

I kept practicing, but life as a young artist without a good teacher can be a bit rough and I've had more than a few people say discouraging things about my drawings throughout the years. I once even had a nasty bully smash all of my art supplies while I was sick in bed and absent from school.

So not only was I born without with this "God-given artistic ability" (which is a myth and I will show you why later), but my school didn't even offer an art class - talk about discouraging!

Finding the Teacher

Despite the fact that the art world seemed to be against me at every turn, I eventually met a teacher from another town who taught at a different school and was offering evening art classes.

At one point in the class she asked us to draw a face. She wasn't very impressed with my drawing, but like any good teacher, she pointed me in the right direction and sent me home that night with a book about human proportions.

Almost overnight my drawings went from amateur to pretty amazing after I applied the lessons in the book. I'm not trying to exaggerate here - the difference of the before and after drawings were really that amazing.

That was the day I realized that being a "naturally gifted artist" was nothing more than a myth! It was then that I realized that literally anyone can learn how to draw if they're given a formula and shown how to apply it properly.

European Inspiration

That same art teacher, Mrs. G as we came to call her, was even kind enough to arrange for a trip for her night time art students to travel Europe to examine a lot of the historical art and architecture there.

In the 3 weeks touring Europe I saw many amazing and inspiring things, but the thing that absolutely floored me was seeing the portrait and caricature artists in both Florence, Italy and Paris, France. Being from a small village, I had never seen anything like these street artists. They would have a huge crowd of people watching them draw the faces of their customers. It was totally amazing, and I was hooked! I began to dream about how cool it would be draw portraits on the street.

Imagine how proud they must have felt having all those people stand around, watching them do what they love, and getting paid to do it at the same time!

The Beginnings of Success

Seeing them work so effortlessly doubled my passion for drawing faces and inspired me to study even harder. I bought, read and studied even more books on figure drawing and by the time I reached University to do a Fine Arts degree, the poor young artist that I used to be was literally drawing circles around the other people in my classes.

While I was still in University studying Fine Arts I was even able to start working on special effects for Hollywood movies! I was fortunate enough to be part of the teams that put together some of the most exciting moments in movies like X-Men 2, Scooby Doo 2, and Superman Returns.

Finally, I had proven once and for all that you can make a very successful career by following your passion, staying focused, and becoming a successful artist, even when the odds are stacked so high against you from the beginning.

Giving Back and Inspiring New Artists

A couple of years ago, I decided I wanted to do something to help people who'd love to be fantastic artists but have never been shown how. I realized that most people out there would never get to meet a great art teacher like Mrs. G. And I knew that most people were still under the illusion that you have to be born with artistic talent.

So I started a website called DrawingCoach.com. It was a lot more successful than I could have ever dreamed, and it generated so much email that I simply wasn't able to answer them all. There are only so many hours in the day an unfortunately after spending all day at the computer for work, it's a bit hard to sit and answer emails about drawing techniques sometimes. I love teaching people on the Internet, but it is a whole other level of commitment to be personally available like that.

While I wasn't able to answer all that email, I did certainly read it, and do you know what request came up more often than all the others combined? People wanted to know the same step-by-step system that lets anyone, regardless of natural talent, become a great caricature artist.

While I love giving back and helping new artists get started, I also knew that to address this topic in a way that anyone regardless of age or skill level can learn to draw human faces and caricatures, would involve a lot of work, time and money to put it all together.

There are so many things in life that I love to do and the thought of spending another few hundred hours putting together a course was a tough decision for me to make. Life is short, and I've just moved to California where the beach is about 10 minutes bike ride away! If you had to choose between beach and computer, which would you choose?

I knew that by creating a step-by-step study course that's NEVER been done before that I could be opening a huge can of worms on myself - creating a lot of interest and even more demands on my time.

But, in the end I realized how different my whole world would be if I hadn't had a teacher like Mrs. G to help me take those first steps to get to where I am today.

I didn't like how that world without a good art teacher looked - I'd probably be working a job I didn't like, barely making enough to survive and generally not enjoying life.

You might even be able to relate to this yourself, if you are a creative person that is feeling stuck in your current uncreative career.

So, after much consideration, I decided to put this course together, in the hope that it can give you the start towards your artistic dreams that you might not have the opportunity for otherwise.

I've been through hundreds of drawing books in my time, most of them terribly boring and even now I'm not sure how I forced myself to go through all of them. But what they've allowed me to do is develop a system for teaching anyone to draw great-looking caricatures and portraits - without the need for the countless hundreds, or even thousands, of hours study and practice.

It has never been my interest to run a huge business and all of the hassles that come with that, not to mention trying to do that while I'm still working Monday to Friday like the rest of the world.

So I'm only going to be offering this course at the current low introductory price for the first 100 copies.

You certainly won't ever find this course at Borders or Amazon.com.

I've put this together for you -
the beginner artists of the world.

I hope you enjoy all the opportunities and new doors that will open for you with the abilities you will learn in this course.

But you don't have to take my word for it at all. Last year I released a mini-course all about drawing the human head, so I thought I'd let some of the past students of that course tell you. These are just a few of the testimonials that I have on file from my raving fans:

"Hi Mitch...This summer, thanks to your tutorials, you'll find me out on the street in Portugal drawing caricatures for a living...It is my summer work, in the winter I am saving an endangered marine mammal called a dugong in India...Thanks to your honest and to the point teaching style, I can now earn extra money doing caricatures and all of it goes to help nature...just wanted you to know how many more lives you are touching..thank you so much...I am learning to see human heads totally differently!"
- Nori

"Mitchman, your course has greatly helped me get started with my drawing quest. The police sketch artist in my town, told me to draw something every day and my skills would improve. At that time I didn't know where to start. Then I found your course, everything was laid out and easy to understand. Thank you. Please keep these excellent instructional videos coming."
- Harmonica Hank

"Hi Mitch! My husband & I are missionaries in Botswana & I haven't been able to find a drawing class. Your on-line videos are great. I can work at my own pace & replay them as much as I need. I don't get as much time to practice as I would like, but I am improving. Thanks."
- Jan M.

"Mitch, I wanted to thank you for sharing your knowledge on drawing the human head. This was my first year teaching Drawing at the high school level. I needed an approach that the students could connect with and they really appreciated your step by step instructions. Something about "rules" in art helps them feel more in control of their work. We were all very impressed and our drawings of people are much improved. Thank you!!"
- Andrea Rose
Ypsilanti, MI

"It was awesome and I found it easy to understand because of the plan and simpleness of the course. I am one of those people that need things to be explained and shown as simple as possible. I think the really clever people would call me thick. So yeah thank you for thinking of people like myself."
- Jack
New Zealand

"Mitch, your lessons were awesome! I never considered myself skilled at drawing, but your lessons have helped bring it all into a context I can understand and even apply when I attempt to do something. My heads now look human!"
- Patricia
Atlanta, GA

"Mitch, the video presentations on how to draw a human head were outstanding. Simple, loud and clear. Simple is beautiful."
- JH Tan

"Thanks so much for your help with drawing the human head. I have found it an excellent resource for teaching my Year 6 class. They especially love watching the videos with the step by step directions and were able to gain confidence in their own drawing abilities - even those who felt they "cannot draw". I'm looking forward to your next course......"
- Jenny
Sydney, Australia

"Hi Mitch, thank you for the drawing videos and all the help you have provided. Before I found you I joined an art class at a local craft shop but the instructor wasn't much help. I was given some handouts of drawing the human head but there were no demos or real life examples. Needles to say this did not help me much so I dropped the class. Then I happened to stumble on your videos while surfing the internet and wow! You have helped me really understand the process of drawing the human head. Just watching you draw in real-time and the included audio explanations are perfect tools for me to learn and to really understand the complete drawing process. Thank you so much for your help."
- Ed
Canada

"Mitch you are the best I am 13 years old and it's my birthday on the 30th May and next year when I'm in year ten I'm taking art as my gcse and my worst enemy of drawing is the face and I really want to become a professional artist and your face drawing has helped me and I can't wait until your new one." Thanks!
- Luke
Ashingdon,England

"Hi Mitch, I just started drawing and have been through quite a few websites and books trying to draw faces, but could never get one that looked realistic. After taking your course, and learning the basics of how to shape a face, I was able to create a realistic portrait of my wife (at least it was similar lol) Thanks for doing all this hard work for us."
- Ken Mason
Ottawa, Canada

"Hi Mitch, As a kind of a beginner, I first embarked on going for private lessons before stumbling onto your website. I found the teacher trying to teach me his own style rather than assist in methods which could enhance my drawing. Since then, I cancelled my lessons and eagerly waited for your next lesson which really helped me a lot. I'm really taken by the drawing of portraits, and your method of proportions, etc was excellent in my progress.... Regards."
- Max Mariola
Johannesburg, South Africa

"Watching you go through the routine of drawing the head and your enthusiasm is truly inspirational thank you very much."

- John Donner

"What can I say Mitch. Before, I absolutely could not draw. But now thanks to you, I am drawing everyone's face in my family. People come to me to draw portraits. I cannot thank you enough for your video tutorials."
- Zoib Huss
England

That is just a sampling of the notes I have gotten. There are a lot more...like HUNDREDS MORE, but they all really say the same thing - I am really good at making learning to draw easy to understand for beginners and experienced artists alike. I work as an Art Director at one of the world's largest Video Game Studios and it's my job to help people improve their artwork every single day.

But that doesn't matter nearly as much as this question:

How Can This Improve YOUR Drawing?

It took me over 14 months to squeeze over 20 years of drawing experience into this drawing course. It has been an exhausting process. The work on this become an obsession for me particularly in the last 3 months.

For the past 90 daysI have worked virtually every single day (and night!) to cram every tip, trick and technique into this course. I was up until 1:00am, 2:00am, and sometimes 4:00am pretty much every day making sure I covered EVERYTHING that you need to know about drawing caricatures and also developing the necessary skills that will take you far beyond drawing just faces.

Frankly, those long hours have taken their toll on me - my health has suffered, my relationships have suffered, I've literally been sitting at the computer every single night and weekend for the past 3 months working on this.

And no, I don't think it was worth it. But what's done is done... and you will get to reap the benefits of all that work.

The bottom line is that I poured my heart and soul into this course, and I didn't leave anything out. This is a COMPLETE guide to learning how to draw caricatures, no matter if you are a complete beginner or an experienced artist. Heck - I'm sure even those people who call themselves 'Professional' artists will learn a thing or three in this course.

Here it is...

Look at Everything That's in the Course:

Three On-Line Digital Discs jam packed full of almost 9 hours of video content that will teach you everything you need to know about drawing caricatures, but there's also so much more that you will learn along in the process as I've added literally hundreds of artist tips into the lessons that will forever change the way that you look at human faces - making the whole process amazingly easy, and giving you skills that you will keep forever, and apply to all kinds of different and imaginative uses.

I know that you are as concerned with the environment as I am. It used to nag the back of my mind about producing the course on DVDs and sending them out. I tried my best to fit everything on just 4 discs and one DVD sized box, but I still felt as if this was still having a negative environmental inpact. So I decided to make the entire course on-line. That means it won't take any space up on your shelf and the delivery is completley carbon neutral.

There's also One Bonus Disc full of additional material to help you get the most out of this caricature training. I know you're going to love this - more information below.

A "Gotcha" To Keep In Mind.

I mentioned at the very beginning of this awfully long letter that the quantities of this course are limited. There is a reason for this...

While I would like to put this course into as many hands as would like to receive it, I am just a one man operation, and I have no interest in becoming a huge distribution center for this course, not to mention the time that it takes to monitor and deal with any issues that may come up.

This course has also taken a lot of focus away from my personal life, and I'm a little worried that if this gets too big that it's going to be more than I can handle... and that doesn't even take into account my day job that has me periodically flying half way around the world to manage and train art teams overseas in Asia.

That is why I decided to limit the availability of Caricature Secrets™ to...

"100 Courses"

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: When I reach the limit of 100 courses, I will stop selling the course.

What Comes Next: After I hit my limit... Caricature Secrets™ will no longer be available at this unbeatable price.

I will continue to sell the course, but you'll need to pay a whole lot more unless you act now and get your copy today!

Trust me when I say that this is your last chance to own Caricature Secrets™ before I hike up the price. The last promise I made about this course was that I was going to take it off the market for at least six weeks and I ended up taking it off the market for an entire year. This course will never again be available at this price - ever, no matter how many people email me begging for a discounted copy!

Get your Access NOW!

Now at this point, you are probably wondering what a huge course of this size will cost.

But I think the question you should be asking yourself is...

What will it cost you
to NOT own "Caricature Secrets™"

While I can't personally force anyone to become a successful artist, I can surely provide you with the road maps to get there - I know this because I've done it many times in the past. I've trained top artists how to raise their skills to the next level of artistic success.

All good artists, even the most experienced, are still constantly learning... still constantly hungry for more knowledge about improving their craft.

I am always on the prowl to learn more about drawing, and whenever I meet one of the real rock star artists of the videogame field they are all in the exact same boat - looking for another course, reference book, or new technique that they can add to their own personal toolkit.

I have a feeling that if you are still reading this letter at this point, you have got to be a serious student of art, with the drive and passion you need to really go far.

What I have put together in Caricature Secrets™ is the results of over 20 years of careful personal observation, practice and study, both personally and professionally.

If all of that knowledge can unlock just one major artistic breakthrough for you... it will pay for itself many times over.

Ok, let's wrap this up...

The Bottom Line

Immediately as soon as I hit 100 sales I will be raising the price of this course to $97.

Maybe not immediately all at once... but the price WILL be $97.

And get this... it will still be a great deal at that price, and I am sure it will still sell like hot cakes.

To be honest I should have already put the price of this course up a few months back, however because of the strong support I have continued to receive from my Drawing Coach site, I am offering a rather (still) outrageous INTRODUCTORY offer for the entire course of only $67.

You won't find another deal like this around anywhere. Try getting as much training from a personal art instructor for that price, and who knows if the art instructor will even be able to teach this kind of material! I've had several people write to me telling me that they actually preferred my courses to their local art schools and decided to drop their local teacher and stick with my video training instead!

And all that makes me almost embarrassed to tell you about the...
